Adding dried fruit to your meals not only adds a little variety, but it also adds fiber, micronutrients and antioxidants. According to Authority Nutrition, dried fruit can be even healthier for you than fresh fruit. It has 3.5 times the fiber, vitamins and minerals. If you’re looking to add some extra fiber into your diet, or you want a healthier way to sweeten your meals, there are plenty of ways to sneak it in.

Breakfast

For breakfast, you can add a variety of different dried fruits into your daily cereal or oatmeal. When you get bored with raisins or dried cranberries, switch it up with some dates or apricots. Each dried fruit has a different benefit.
