We love toast! We’re talking thick slices of freshly baked bread topped with layers of good stuff kinda toast.
Here are a few of our favorites:
Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch Toast
- 1 Slice of your favorite bread
- 1 T natural peanut butter
- 1 Banana
- 2 T Second Nature Snacks Dark Chocolate Medley
- Cut bread into ½ inch slices
- Toast bread for desired amount of time, we like it crispy
- Spread the peanut butter on the toast. Get all the edges!
- Slice banana into ¼” rounds. Lay the banana slices on top of the peanut butter
- Roughly chop 2 tablespoons of dark chocolate medley. Sprinkle on top and enjoy!
If you’re feeling more of a savory breakfast this morning, try one of these:
Avocado Toast
- 1 Slice of your favorite bread
- 1 Ripe avocado
- Grape tomatoes
- Fresh basil
- Salt and pepper
- Cut bread into ½ inch slices
- Toast bread for desired amount of time
- Remove avocado from its peel. Tip: if your avocado is ripe enough, you can peel the avocado, leaving it perfectly intact
- Slice avocado into ¼” slices. Spread slices on top of toast
- Top the avocado with sliced tomatoes and fresh basil leaves
- Finish with freshly ground salt and black pepper
Or, for a heartier breakfast with protein, try:
Lox Toast
- 1 Slice of your favorite bread
- 1 T Cream Cheese
- Smoked salmon
- 2-3 Sprigs of fresh dill
- Salt and pepper
- Cut bread into ½ inch slices
- Toast bread for desired amount of time, we like it EXTRA crispy for this one
- Cover toast with cream cheese
- Add 2-3 slices of smoked salmon. Yum!
- Top with fresh dill
- Finish off with freshly ground salt and black pepper
